1. If your pet stares into a certain area for a period of time. This is a possible indication of activity. Most common pet to do this is a cat or dog. Cats are more sensitive then dogs are.
2. If you smell an odor that you have never smelled before like a musty smell, or fragrances that you do not recognize.
3. If items of yours vanish from where you put them and then reappear. Or you hear strange noises, such as knocking, banging, doors opening and closing for no reason, lights going on and off, or if you hear voices that you do not recognize.
4. If you see a shadow or apparition. Shadows may or may not have a shape to them. There are different types of apparitions, ones that can be full body, and have defining features.
5. Being watched. If you feel you are being watched, it is possible that there could be a high EMF ( Electro Magnetic Field) in the area. In this instance an EMF detector is used to check the area to see how high of a reading there is. Such as in laundry rooms, or the basement if there is alot of wiring exposed or if it was installed in one area. This could give you the feeling of being watched. 6. Residual Haunting: Residual Hauntings are a type of haunting that repeats itself. Like when you watch a certain scene over and over again. The apparition or spirit does not acknowledge your presence.
7. Poltergeist: A spirit or ghost responsible for noisy disturbances, or moving objects around.
8. Orbs: most often orbs are mistaken for spirits. Orbs are just balls of electrical energy, generally not seen by the naked eye. With a digital camera though they can be seen.
